Welcome to sleepcavern.com. This website was built by me to show the world how to create the perfect sleeping environment by following what I have done to create my very own sleep oasis. 

But first, you might be wondering who I am in the first place…

Who am I?

My name is Ethan, and I am the creator of this site. I have gone through phases over the years where I have had trouble sleeping. Being able to fall asleep to begin with was half the battle. Even when I did fall asleep quickly, I often woke up feeling as though I didn’t get the quality sleep that I needed to take on the day. I found myself waking up randomly throughout the night as well.

That’s when I started to do some research on exactly how to get a better nights sleep.

I found that although taking sleeping medicine and taking other precautions can always help you sleep better, one of the most effective ways to sleep better was by creating an ideal sleeping environment. 

What is this blog about exactly?

When I said “creating an ideal sleeping environment” I meant making tweaks and changes to blackout your bedroom, to soundproof your bedroom, and to climate control your bedroom, and to make other small changes to your living space that make a world of difference when it comes to getting a better nights sleep.

Yes, sleeping medications, and lifestyle choices can have a huge impact on how well you can sleep but people often fail to focus on the environment that they are sleeping in and how critical it is to optimize this living space for sleep.

In turn, this blog aims to guide you step by step on how to create for yourself the perfect sleeping environment.

Why am I writing and who am I writing to?

I created this blog simply to help those who are in need of better sleep. Personally, I know first hand how frustrating it is to not be able to fall asleep or to wake up feeling still tired as ever.

Because I have greatly improved my sleep through the changes I have made to my room, I decided to create this site to share the steps that I have taken to improve my sleeping environment.
